You'll wonder how you managed without it

Contrary to popular opinion, the author of One Stop Short of Barking - Uncovering the London Underground, Mecca Ibrahim, is a woman. Despite an unhealthy interest in the London Underground, she is not able to reel off the names of the deepest, dirtiest, oldest, and coldest stations on the tube.

Email - Mecca Ibrahim - author of One Stop Short of BarkingShe has had some poetry and short stories published in magazines in an earlier life, and her internet work includes reviews on TV chefs including Jamie Oliver, Nigella Lawson and The Two Fat Ladies.

Her less than complimentary reviews of Mr Oliver's talents have led to her being labelled a fat lesbian by Jamie's fans and for the record she is neither (well, not that fat).

The book is now available in all good bookshops including Foyles and Waterstones or you can now buy online through amazon.co.uk.
